Fundraising Opportunities

The Regina 86th takes part in a few fundraisers throughout the year in order to raise money for new camping equipment, to pay for training and activities and to allow the youth to earn credits that can be used to cover the cost of the many camps and jamborees we attend each year.

Scout Popcorn 2022

Our first fund raiser of the new Scouting year is always Scout Popcorn.  This year the popcorn orders must handed in by October 27th and the popcorn will be arriving in Regina in mid December.

We will be providing the youth with the Popcorn Order form, contact your Scouter team if you need more.

Grey cup pool tickets

In partnership with our sponsor group, the 35 Maple Leaf Lions Club of Regina we will be selling Grey Cup pool tickets again this year.  Each ticket is $5.00 and is good for the Quarter Final, Semi-Final and Grey Cup games.  All tickets are due to be handed in November 1st.

The Grey Cup Pool tickets are a fundraiser to support the many charities they give money too, including our Scout group.  A lot of their charities are sight related but they also sponsor organizations within the community like Carmichael Outreach.  The Lions also support blind bowling and cribbage and have assisted the out of sight Dragon Boat racers for visually impaired.  They also give support to Diabetes, Food Bank and Chili for Children.  This year they are also sponsoring a Guide Dog for the visually impaired.
